Now this might seem a silly thing, but Blogs are to write down what gave you a thought, to vent, to appeal, to speak. So be kind, friends, this is the first for me!

I received some pictures from my dear friend and animal communicator Amelia Kinkade, and Dr. Bernie Segal. After laughing and spilling my coffee on my jammies (yes, I overslept), and thought what the heck, it's cold out! So now I am in new jammies, and still thinking that those pictures speak volumes.

Aren't cats suppose to chase rats and mice? Chipmunks, squirrels, moles, etc... Aren't a lot of people on the flipside of what they believe other people are like because of color, race, creed, religion? Are we predators when we hunt for animals? Is it to feed our families? Or to put a mount on a wall? Aren't dogs suppose to hate cats, chase birds? Where did all of this come from? When in the innocence of a window a cat is intrigued then sleeping with the very nemesis it is suppose to be killing. We don't have to hate others, we are not programmed to hate for reasons that we are told of when we are children and many times cary with us into our adult life, thus preaching it to our children. I have three labradors, one of each color and two cats. One hamster, a gecko, and guinea pig. Oh, and the other animals that I love, my three boys and my daughter, ummmm yes there is a husband in there too. He's too cute to mention!

But the cats don't bother the hamster, the guinea pig, or the lizard. We all live together in harmony. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to live that way, allowing all to care about the other, and if choose not to, then respect the other and leave it alone? If cats can live with mice in harmony, dogs can live with cats, and people can look at others as people, not color, or faith, but people, wouldn't that be a lovely thing. I am keeping these pictures, and I suggest you do the same, a good laugh is healthy, and if a cat and mouse can get along, then we sure can.

In Light, Vicki
